Emma entered the Clinical Science PhD Program in the fall of 2025. Broadly, she is interested in using EMA and passive data collection to study factors that influence the use and effectiveness of emotion regulation strategies in individuals with psychopathology. She is especially interested in understanding how information derived from such methods can be used to develop personalized interventions, particularly just-in-time adaptive interventions. Prior to joining the Lab, Emma worked as a clinical research assistant at McLean Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Diego Pizzagalli studying emotions and stress in individuals with remitted depression. She completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2022.

Fun fact: Emma is certified to teach yoga and yoga sculpt!
