**The Emotion and Psychopathology in Context** (EPIC) Lab studies how emotion processes shape psychopathology and resilience, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and other distress disorders. We examine how these processes function across different contexts — across cultures, people, time, and situations, toward a refined understanding of context-sensitive, flexible behaviors that facilitate adaptation.
